The USS Orleck Amateur Radio Station and the North Florida Amateur Radio Society will be holding a “Navy Days” special ham radio event Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 8:00am until 6:00pm. Operators will be on board the ship broadcasting from Radio Central with call sign K4D on 20- and 40-meter bands.
The Navy Days event celebrates significant anniversaries for the Navy and the City of Jacksonville that occur the fourth quarter of the year as follows:
