The USS CONYNGHAM (DD-371/DDG-17) Association’s Artifact Department is going out of business and they are donating their historic artifact collection and a trailer to The USS ADAMS Museum. The trailer and contents will be driven from Minnesota and delivered to Jacksonville on Monday, July 20.
While not a huge event and a busy workday, PLEASE consider this a SAVE THE DATE and invitation to join us. The tentative schedule is:
– 1030: Meet at SHIPYARDS and take milestone pictures with the trailer at the SHIPYARDS property, with DDG-17 and JHNSA/ACVA Jacksonville members.
– 1045: Drive to the JACKSONVILLE LANDING – Loading Dock. Visit The USS ADAMS Museum Ship’s Store to complete the inventory and admin turnover.
– 1115 – 1130: Lunch at Fionn McCools at the JACKSONVILLE LANDING.
– 1PM: All Parties Depart.
