For nearly fifteen years, The Jacksonville Historical Society has presented its own cable program, The Jacksonville History Show, on Cable Channel 99. Hosted by Executive Director Emily Rutherford Lisska and veteran broadcaster Harry Reagan, this fascinating monthly program features in-depth author interviews, “deep dives” on current exhibits and events of historical interest, timely architectural surveys, and news about community tours and events.

The show can be seen at 8:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month, and at various unscheduled times thereafter. Select shows are featured here, but you can find all past episodes–more than 150–on the Society’s YouTube Channel.

On March 11, Daniel Bean, President Jacksonville Historical Naval Ship Association, and Joe Snowburger, Commodore and CEO of the USS Adams Museum, discussed exciting developments in the effort to bring the USS CHARLES F. ADAMS (DDG-2) to Jacksonville as Florida’s first and only naval warship museum.
