The “Salute to Veterans 5k” run is to be held on Veterans day to salute our veterans and active duty service men and women. Jacksonville is a military town and this event is to recognize the importance of our military to Jacksonville and our Nation. The event will benefit the Jacksonville Historic Naval Ship Association in its efforts to bring a retired Guided Missile Destroyer, the Charles F. Adams, DDG-2 to Downtown Jacksonville as a floating Naval Museum. Registration and general information is provided below:
