PRC Digital Media, the creative force behind our Bring Home The Adams video, recently won three awards for their work. Raymond L. Hays, president of PRC Digital Media, wrote the script and produced the video for the museum. The visual effects graphics, created by Chris Linke, were so good that many of the comments after watching the video posed the question, “when was the ship Downtown?”

In March, the video won a Silver Reel award in Graphics/Animation at the Media Communications Association – International: Video Festival.

The MCA-I Festival celebrates excellence in media communications and for more than 40 years, these honors have been highly coveted and recognized internationally for their prestige. Each entry is reviewed by panels of industry professionals from across the country and around the world. These entries are evaluated on effective use of the medium, creativity, production values and technical quality in three areas: Message Design, Creative Elements and Production Elements.

Then on May 1, the video placed twice in The Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts: Communicator Awards, taking home an Award of Distinction in Use of Visual Effects and another in Charitable/Nonprofit.

The Communicator Awards is the leading international awards program which recognizes creative excellence in the communication field. Founded by communication professionals over a decade ago, they are an annual competition honoring the best in advertising, corporate communications, public relations and identity work for print, video, audio and interactive work. The past year’s Communicator Awards received over 9,000 entries, making it one of the largest awards of its kind in the world.
