Generosity and helping people seems to be a cornerstone of William W. “Bill” Gay’s personality.

Mr. Gay is well known for enriching lives within the Jacksonville community. He is a native Floridian and has been a resident of Jacksonville since 1939. To say that Mr. Gay is very active in civic and community affairs is the understatement of the century. He is a proud member and officer of numerous organizations, many of which extend beyond his professional and business interests.

However, it was his “Leadership By Example” attitude that inspired The USS ADAMS Museum to nominate him for the I Vote To Give “Good Guy” award. Mr. Gay has shown our organization an incredible amount of support over the years.

In 2009, Mr. Gay sponsored our first Salute to Veterans 5K Run and has been engaged in supporting our run since, which in its sixth year, is considered Jacksonville’s second largest 5K run. In 2012, he sponsored our Gala Fundraising Event and helped us sponsor fundraising events at Jaxtoberfest in 2013 and 2014. If that was not enough, his generosity has allowed us to hire a Fundraising and Membership Specialist. This is a huge asset for our organization to have and will help us raise the necessary funds we need to BRING HOME THE ADAMS!

We cannot thank Mr. Gay enough for his unparalleled support and dedication to our organization. Please join us in showing support for this wonderful man, by voting to make Mr. Gay I Vote To Give’s “Good Guy” at http://bit.ly/Vote2BringHomeTheAdams.

The nominee with the most votes by July 3 will also win $2,500 in cash and prizes for their nonprofit. So, please take a few minutes to cast your vote and tell others to do the same.
