9M Laundry

The laundry washend and dried the clothes, bedding and towels for more than 300 men at sea or in port. There is a large washing machine, a dryer, and two ironing presses. Sleeping compartments came with large mesh laundry bags for items to be washed. The clothes had the crewman’s name stenciled on them and what compartment they were in. Laundry bags were brouth here one or twice a week.
